A young man is once again counting his lucky stars after a shooter made a failed attempt on his life in the heart of Road Town shortly after noon today, Saturday, March 11.

Initial reports indicate that the young man was at a family car rental on Waterfront Drive when the shooter pulled the trigger; however, the gun reportedly jammed.

There have been previous attempts on the intended victim's life in recent years.

Police are currently on the scene conducting investigations, including the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Michael Matthews.
