A year after the fatal death of Julian Turnbull, 52, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has laid a charge against the female driver, who allegedly knocked him to the ground.

Turnbull was reportedly found dead by officers of the Road Policing Unit in the Mayaba area in March 2016.

On March 30, 2017, Lorraine Ryder-Wollner of Meyers Estate was charged with causing death by reckless driving.

Ms. Ryder-Wollner made an appearance before the Magistrate’s Court, where she was offered bail.

She is scheduled to make another appearance in May.
